Complete edition of the set, published in 1868 by the "Calcografía Nacional" in Madrid in only a small edition on strong wove paper. With the exception of the 1st leaf with the portrait of Goya, all 79 remaining leaves printed from the plates not yet bevelled. A very well preserved copy, the leaves with a few individual foxing spots.
The series "Los Caprichos" (Caprichos: Drawings of Thoughts and Inspirations) was published in 12 editions, the first in book form in 1799, the second in 1855, each printed in small numbers. Complete series in this quality are rare

Blattes mit dem Portrait von Goya alle 79 restlichen Blätter von den noch nicht facettierten Platten gedruckt. Sehr gut erhaltenes Exemplar, die Blätter mit einzelnen wenigen Stockfleckchen
