Condition

On smooth wove paper (papier vélin), the paper a little bit wavy, very few creases at lower margin, with studio traces and nail holes at upper corners. At all in very nice condition

The drawing is a study on a scale of 1:1 for a stone sculpture that the artist was working on in Mur on Mont Vully. The sculpture is illustrated in the exhibition catalogue of the Kunsthalle Bern 1977, pag. VI, and is in the estate of Markus Raetz. Auf glattem Velin, das Papier leicht gewellt, ganz vereinzelt mit Knittern am unteren Rand, mit Atelierspuren und Reissnagellöchern in den oberen Ecken. Insgesamt in sehr schöner Erhaltung

Erläuterungen

Die Zeichnung ist eine Studie im Massstab 1:1 für eine Steinskulptur, an welcher der Künstler in Mur auf dem Mont Vully arbeitete. Die Skulptur ist abgebildet im Ausstellungskatalog der Kunsthalle Bern 1977, pag. VI, und befindet sich im Nachlass von Markus Raetz.
