    Charming forest scene in Bergell, the title of which can be specified in the catalogue raisonné "Waldinneres" by the enclosed letter from Giovanni Giacometti to Etienne Perincioli, dated 11 June 1921, in "Paesaggio di Bregaglia". Etienne Perincioli (1881-1944), a sculptor in Bern who had immigrated from Italy, received this work from the artist in exchange for another commitment. Etienne Perincioli is the father of the Bernese sculptor Marcel Perincioli (1911-2005). Enclosed with the work is the letter card, with envelope, inscribed on both sides and signed by Giovanni Giacometti

    Reizvolle Waldszene im Bergell, dessen Titel im Werkverzeichnis "Waldinneres" durch den beiliegenden Brief von Giovanni Giacometti an Etienne Perincioli, datiert vom 11. Juni 1921, in "Paesaggio di Bregaglia" präzisiert werden kann. Etienne Perincioli (1881-1944), aus Italien zugewanderter Bildhauer in Bern, erhielt dieses Werk vom Künstler im Tausch gegen eine andere Verpflichtung. Etienne Perincioli ist der Vater des Berner Bildhauers Marcel Perincioli (1911-2005). Dem Werk liegt die Briefkarte, mit Umschlag, doppelseitig beschriftet und von Giovanni Giacometti signiert, bei
