On strong wove paper (papier vélin), with irregular margins. Laid along the edges of the sheet on Japan paper. With handwritten notes by Bruno Giacometti, the artist's brother, on the reverse. In perfect condition
The drawing, made around 1925, shows the portrait of Alberto's sister Ottilia (1904-1937). Ottilia is his only sister along with his two brothers Diego (1902-1985) and Bruno (1907-2012). On the reverse of the sheet there is a sketch of a copy after a crucifixion.

Die um 1925 entstandene Zeichnung zeigt das Porträt von Albertos Schwester Ottilia (1904-1937). Ottilia ist seine einzige Schwester nebst seinen beiden Brüdern Diego (1902-1985) und Bruno (1907-2012). Auf der Rückseite des Blattes findet sich eine Skizze einer Kopie nach einer Kreuzigung
